Supporting Wellbeing Through Relaxation

As time passes, and our world gets more complicated, I think we adapt to higher levels of stress and create a new ‘normal’ for ourselves.

The Relaxation Room is a place where you can come to experience truly relaxing treatments where your body is given space to revive and restore. I see my role as supporting you in this restoration process.

The Relaxation Room is my happy place. My own wellbeing benefits from the service I give you. For that you have my thanks.

I look forward to meeting you,

How Mobile Reflexology Works

This service has been prompted by people asking me if I could visit them in their home as they find it difficult to attend appointments in the community.

Where?

Mobile reflexology is offered within the geographical areas of Palmerston North city, and Levin town. (Locations outside these areas will attract travel charges.)

When?

Mobile Reflexology is by appointment only.

What do I need?

  • You need to have enough space for me to extend out the chair that I use for you to relax in while receiving your treatment. A clear area of 2.5 x 1.5 meters is a minimum.
You will also need a blanket and a pillow 🙂
  • Reflexology treatments are best done in a warm, quiet environment, preferably with no disruptions.
  • We need to make sure that Reflexology is a suitable treatment for you; if you are pregnant, receiving treatment for cancer, or have a history of blood clots please chat with me to see if reflexology is the right treatment for you.

Mobile Reflexology FAQ

How far in advance do I have to book?
My Mobile Reflexology service needs to work around bookings made in my Palmerston North, Levin and Tokomaru locations. Because of this, it is best if you book at least a week in advance to avoid disappointment.

What is the treatment fee?
The cost of a 1 hour treatment is $85. This includes my travel to your location.
If you invite a friend to come to your place to also have a treatment, then the fee is $80 per person.
If there are 3 or more consecutive treatments in one location then treatments are $75 per person.

What are your payment options?
Payments need to be made at the time of booking. This can be done online using your credit/debit card, or you can do an internet bank payment. Please let me know which you would prefer.

How long are treatments?
Treatments are 1 hour.

What if my treatment is interrupted?
Please understand that I have planned my day and travel around your appointment. I allow 5 minutes when I arrive to set up. Your treatment time begins after that – delayed starts or interruptions reduce the treatment time.

Mobile Reflexology Cancellation Policy

What if I need to cancel?
Please understand that I have planned my day and travel around your appointment.
Your treatment fee is not refunded if you cancel in under 12 hours, or you are not at your location as planned.
If you cancel between 12 and 24 hours prior to your appointment, 80% of your treatment fee is refunded.

Reflexology for Menopause

If you are struggling with peri-menopause, or menopause symptoms, reflexology may help.

I have completed Reflexology for Menopause training with Barbara Scott – a UK reflexologist who is the Founder of Seren Natural Fertility and Chair of The Assn of Reproductive Reflexologists. (https://reproductivereflexologists.org/seren/)
Barbara has developed treatment protocols that are used at different times of your cycle that may help to reduce the impact of your symptoms.

Book in now using the reflexology treatment booking options, and when you fill in your new client form, let me know that you are wanting some support with your menopausal symptoms.
